JP buffer spring was suggested by a friend whom shoots AR-15's a lot over great distances while on prairie dog hunts in the south. He explains that it removes most of the noise heard in the tube/stock assembly and also removes some of the felt recoil. The spring assembly arrived within a week from ordering. Optics Planet had the best price I could find.

Works great suppressed or non suppressed. have these in all my ar's. must buy! does not add a lot of weight and takes away that cheese grader sound. the price is great on this sight too I always buy them from optics planet
