I was looking for some sunnies i could use for running and MTB and also for casual wear. The Race glasses do it all and well - if you are going to use these for sports they won't fog up on you and for all the dirt i've wiped off the lens I still haven't scratched them. They are very light and still built tough so I expect I'll probably to lose these before they fail. Good all round sunnies in my opinion although some may think they don't look as cool as Oakley's for the casual look. But value for money these beat Oakley and others hands down.

Former Julbo lover
Before this pair I had a Julbo pair that held great for 7 years, including 3 years of combat army service in extreme condition, and several hiking and skiing trips.
In the case of this pair is broke extremely fast.
The lenses just flew out several times causing them to scratch. All rubber parts popped out of their slots. Screws started to come out after only 2 months.
The overall feeling was of very poor production quality.
Too bad that a company that once made extraordinary glasses deteriorated so fast.
Pros: Great polarized lenses, great feel and look
Cons: Broke extremly fast!

fragile frame
The frame broke when I opned the temples to try the glasses. It was very cold, -15 degrees celcius. The lens is supposed to be unbreakable, but that dont help me when the frame is fragile

Julbo Race Speed Sunglasses
Perfect for running-no slipping and sliding, and the optics are crisp. Not as extreme looking as some other sport oriented sunglasses. (Important for senior citizens like me! ;-)

Comfort for any serious hike
I have taken this glasses to several extensive trail in South Sierra.
It definitely help me see clearly under blazing sunlight and snow. The lenses is very robust. Without all the dust and rocks, it never scratch.
The frame is slightly heavier when sitting on your nose. But other features are easily overcome this shortcoming.
