Purchased 2 they came in basic black steel. Was OK with me, stopped by Wally World grabbed a can of fluorescent blaze orange sprayed both sides "bingo" high vis at distance. Sticky orange paper targets are OK but why spend the money (Ha). Set one at 50 yards (Zero) my S&W 460 and at 100 for my new Henry 45-70 all weather. The 8" is the perfect size for the vitals on a white tail or hog. Both these rounds will hit with devastating results. No issue only chipped the paint with 1-1/2" groupings. Flip them around and ditto. This AR500 is tuff stuff, not a dent whatsoever. Quick spray and good to go again.
