Many ice scrapers are garbage plastic. There are some that have metal blades that are safe for glass, but their handles are prone to break. This one, even though it is a polymer, is very stout. Highly doubt it would break easily. Though it is a polymer, it does have a pretty sharp edge, and does do decent job on frost. How long edge will last, time will tell, and not sure if you could resharpen it somehow.

Best ice scraper I’ve ever used

We’ve had some serious ice recently and this thing plowed right through it like it was nothing. A usual 15 minute shoulder busting job took no time at all. I’ll sing its praises to anyone who can tolerate my offkey singing.

Great scraper

I bought several of these for friends and family. Everyone loved them! If you sharpened them a little, it would be a good weapon. I keep one on my car year-round...just in case. Zombies beware. You could probably sneak this past TSA.

This is a substantial ice scraper and makes a great gift.

I purchased several of these for myself and some guy friends/family. Everyone loved them. I have used it several times and it works very well. An added bonus is that this scraper seems sturdy enough to make an impromptu weapon if necessary. I thoroughly recommend this product for its intended use.

Fun, simple, and small size make this scraper ready for the car door or the glove box. it seems to have a sturdy good edge. Best for knife fan, ka-bar fan, or tacticool person. I like it and would buy again
