300 8" barrel
I hook this up on my Areo Precision upper 8" barrel and it looks great. Forward blast with a straight back recoil helps getting back on target a bit quicker. Used 150gr American eagle. I haven't tried with subsonic yet still searching for rounds...

Worked well in projecting blast forward on a shorter (16 inch) barrelled rifle. Bought to try to shoot without bursting ear drums. Sound was mitigated with maybe just a little increase in recoil.

Fit well, inexpensive, well made
I bought this flash can because an assembled upper receiver that I bought has a hand guard that’s longer than the barrel and my suppressor is too wide to fit inside. It fit well and was easy to put on using a pedal wrench (handle) in the two slots. It’s made from aluminum, which I didn’t recall seeing in the description. So it’s lighter than I expected. Most importantly (kidding) it looks cool. This was an inexpensive solution. It also looks like it will be easy to clean.
Pros:
- Inexpensive, looks cool, fits inside handguard
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Short barreled upper when handguard is longer than barrel and suppressor will not fit.
- When hand guard is too long

Works on a .300 AAC with a 7.5" barrel
Using this on my .300 AAC with a 7.5 inch barrel that has an A2 birdcage, and if I shoot a single shot without my ears on, my ear blows out and I'm deaf for a few hours. I put this thing on and my first trip to the range, forgot to put my ears on, and after a couple of shots, my ears we're even ringing, let alone deaf. Yeah, this thing does what it says it does. It doesn't reduce decibels, but i forwards all the blast and concussion away from the shooter, and it does it very well. Another thing I noticed, is that it also seems to recoil softer. Its noticeably softer recoil than my 5.56 with a 16" barrel. Now, I cant stand the slots at the forward end of the device. I know its to help tighten the device for tucking under longer rails, but man does it look ugly. As much as I hate it, it doesnt affect the fit or function of the device, so I wont be taking a star for it. But goodness, its ugly.

kak extended flash can
Fits perfectly under a 13" handguard on a 10" barrel for that tucked look. If you have a multi caliber supressor it can take the place of the supressor when its on a different weapon system. Feels sturdy and looks the part.

Did it's job!
When I designed my AR-47, I designed it for a 9.5" barrel. What I didn't expect was for that barrel to take 7 months to ship. After about 4.5 months, when I found a 7" 7.62x39 AR barrel available from PSA, I grabbed it. I had to figure out what kind of flash can I could use to make up for 2.5" worth of missing barrel though, and this was it! I shot hundreds of rounds through it before my 9.5" barrel came in, and it worked great at keeping my handguard from exploding or burning my hand off from holding it too far forward.
Pros:
- Cheap
- effective
- Long
Cons:
- Nothing fancy
Best Used for:
- Short barrel builds

kak extended can
mounted on a 7.62 short barrel. huge improvement in muzzle rise and migrating concusion away from the user.and definitely looks awsome.made the rifle definitely more user friendly and helped extend the overall length without going to a larger barrel
Pros:
- helps extend barrel, controls and directs muzzle blast away from the user
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- shorter barreled rifles

Good for the price. It is cheaply made, install was easy, and it shipped quickly. I would recommend this product at this price point but not the best quality. I install this on a 300 blackout. It seems to function correctly
Pros:

Cons:
- Metal but light
Best Used for:
- rifle
