With KAK I expected ready to go put of the box, but unlike most buffer tubes, this one came with a slot for the detent. A file will make it work easy enough, however, that shouldn't be the needed fix. For the money you can get options that are ready to use in the way AR's should be. This isn't an AK...

I bought this for my first rifle build, all the parts look and feel nice. I had no issues installing them. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a basic buffer tube kit.

Rust/poor quality

Buffer spring was rusty right out of the package and coated the inside of the buffer tube with rust residues. The spring itself looks and feels of low quality. The buffer tube had small nicks in the rear of the tube. (Nobody will see it when there is a stock or brace attached)
