Too Heavy and Generic
This device is nothing more than a heavy lugnut. I’m not one that likes subpar products that was simply machined to satisfy their profits; and not the practically of making a quality product thats operationally effective.

Wasn’t right until I installed the Magnum. It would be a shame to hide this under a handgaurd. But if you must, this would be a good choice. I, however, really like the profile at my Barrel/Gaurd length.

It is really unique
First time I've used a linear comp. I ordered the Kaw Valley 2.5 for my 6.5CM Bergara B14 not knowing what to expect. WOW, this thing is a beast yet I didn't experience any increase in recoil as was lead to believe would happen. Since I shot off a bench rest the added weight at the end of the barrel and didn't seem to cause any POI change.

KAW Valley Linear Compensator
Did a lot of research for this type of product for my AR pistol. Decided on KAW Valley. Excellent quality and diverts the blast forward as designed. Very happy with the product and the price from Opticsplanet.

- A must have for an AR pistol

Used on my Barsto barrel
Bought this for my Glock 24 with a Barsto 6.75 inch threaded barrel. I see the negative comments, but it works amazing in my setup. I have a pistol brace for the Glock so weight is no problem. This comp reduces recoil and sends sound down range for my situation. May work so well because it is on a 40S&W. Needed 9/16x24 threads, and this comp has them. Really looks cool too. Gets lots of attention at the range.

Clogged Threads
Dimension and size are perfect for what I wanted.
Would have rated higher but took a good deal of running a tap down threads to remove excess nitride just to get it to thread down on barrel.
Also wish it had wrench flats.
