People say its too short
Fantastic barrel. I happend to get the 4.5 and its great. I think its the perfect length for a ar9 build. Throw on a long linear comp and you are good to go. I cant speak for the other lengths but it came fast with no blemishes or anything like that. Id give it a go for sure.
Bore Rough
I am sending this barrel back. The nitride finish on the barrel surface is nice but the bore seems unfinished. It was covered in a rough black substance and is still rough after repeatedly swabbing with break free patches. I think that there was no final step in the manufacturing process to smooth the bore up. I have another of these barrels that was fine.
Would recommend: No
Kaw Valley Precision 9mm Caliber Barrel
Purchased this 9mm barrel for a AR9 SBR build. Fit and finish are excellent. It shoots my reloaded 147g JHPs and FMJs accurately.
