This is Genius. Actually made it so I had to change Gas Settings in my gun to get it not be over gassed. If you have a gun that is behaving as though it is under gassed this is probably the fix.

Nice gas ring. does what I expected
Aero Precision nickel boron BCG. 1st time with a one piece ring. I thought I'd give this one a try. While the odds of all 3 gaps lining up at the same time are extremely low, this makes them zero. Good ring and also a quick solution if you need to replace. Good tight fit when new ( like a new set of rings should be...) I always keep a spare set on hand. 1800 rounds through and the BCG still passes the "stand up" test. Standard rings were a lot looser at 1500, but the gun shot just fine then too. So it's up to the user, but rings are a low cost wear item so remember to replace. I have never had any issues with individual rings so the cost vs quantity is up to the user as well.
