Great flash hider
Works perfect for my intended use, ASR mount! Has a ring without a can on it, but a short high pitch ring is still much quieter than the report of the rifle being fired. Works well as a flash hider to, and most people I know don't care about the ring, but I only wanted it for the ASR mounting.

Great Tuning Fork
Solid construction but I can't use this because of the tuning fork effect. The ping from this is loud and obnoxious; just touching this makes a loud ringing sound. Too bad because it's built like a tank and finished well.
Very nice muzzle device, I am pleased
I like Kaw Valley, is a good alternative to my SilencerCo ASR, a little bit less of a price. But just as solid piece very nice muzzle device. I run this as I do not have to time it with makes it even better, no shimming, no timing just mount up and go. I have a few of these and now this one in 5/8 X 24 and I am pleased with this one as I have been with my 1/2 X 28 ones. I do not think that you will be disappointed with this. Enjoy shooting "SHHH" it is nice.

Good fit & feel, needed ASR flash hider and this checked all the blocks
Arrived quickly and has a nice weight and feel to it. Easy to install no need to time it, so no shimmering needed. Works good with my SilencerCo ASR suppressors

Yes it Rings But!
The flash hider hides the flash decently on a 10.5.
If you shoot a lot or occasionally, carbon will build up and dampen the ring. Probably sounds better on a longer barrel but it works for me.

Muzzle Device
Absolutely terrible! The harmonics that this flash hider puts off is unbearable. Whether you are running suppressed or unsuppressed the Ping noise it makes is so annoying and very loud. You have been warned twice in the reviews. Do not purchase this! Kaw Valley makes really good stuff including muzzle devices and pistons but this item is not one of them!
