I already own two of these and use them on my precision 22's. I thought I was ordering a third but turns out this is just the body with no adaptor to thread it on the barrel. (My first two came with the adaptor for about the same price.) I'd return it but I'd likely have to pay shipping and returns with OP are just such a hassle anyway. Now I have to buy a $20+ 1/2-28 adaptor. Not happy. My advice is to buy the unit WITH the threaded adaptor you need and save $.
Pros:
- Build quality
- Works as advertized
Cons:
- No way to mount it to the rifle

- paper weight
