I already own two of these and use them on my precision 22's. I thought I was ordering a third but turns out this is just the body with no adaptor to thread it on the barrel. (My first two came with the adaptor for about the same price.) I'd return it but I'd likely have to pay shipping and returns with OP are just such a hassle anyway. Now I have to buy a $20+ 1/2-28 adaptor. Not happy. My advice is to buy the unit WITH the threaded adaptor you need and save $.

I purchased this trigger for a Savage mod 12 BVSS. on arrival, I found that the trigger had several major issues.
- It would not adjust down to the stated minimum weight
-it was CRUNCHY . Very crunchy. You can hear it as you squeeze.
-The trigger shoe itself must be removed nd reinstalled every time you remove the action from it's stock as it is too fat to fit through the trigger guard slot
- the trigger shoe attaches by the smallest hex screw I've ever seen. The screw must be tightened HARD or the trigger slips. That screw is already partially stripped after removing it 4-5 times. I have no doubt it would get stuck on the trigger (which means the rifle action is stuck in the stock) with much more use. I now have to use it without the shoe.
- I sent it back to Elftman for inspection /service. That cost me money but worst of all. They fixed/changed nothing on the trigger.

Hand filling and gives good purchase on my nose heavy Mk IV 10" model. Good value for the money. My only wish is that you could get them in other colors besides basic black. Colored camo would be nice. I see one of the other reviewers had mag ejection issues. My advice would eb to back the grip screws out a 1/2 turn . If the grips are tightened too much, the screws will rub on your mag body.

This is a good quality rail but it has it's issues. First, it's the tallest of all rails available. This limits it's use to low rings (even with a 60mm) objective. A lower rail like the MDT/EGW allows more options for scope height/mounting. Second, the bubble is too small, the glass to narrow and it's placement too far under the scope to be of any real use. I've found a scope mounted bubble to be far superior . Lastly, it's the most expensive of all the mounts I've found and used. I only bought this one because I wanted max ( 50) MOA compensation for my Strike Eagle scope when going out to 300 yds and beyond. I'll likely go back to the other brands for my next build.

I've got tactical rifle cases ranging in price from $40 to $250 so I feel that I have something to base my review on. IMHO, this bag is the best of all I've tried. It's very streamlined, very well designed and very well excited.
- The bag itself is low profile/ has thinner profile than most. Coupled with the lack of tons of extra straps anf protruding pockets, this makes it less prone to snag things. It's also easier to carry and load into the hatch of my SUV.
-I like that the back pack straps are completely removable. I don't use them and they just make the case unruly and a snag o matic.
- the ability to remove the center divider is a big deal to me. If I'm carrying a single (fat) bolt action rifle, I leave it out. At minimum, it's nice to lay out on the bench to protect my rifle/gear.
- The thick padding covers everything including the edges (which some bags skimp on.)
-Materials and workmanship is as good as my $200 vudoo tactical bag.
- the pockets are ample in size and low profile. Still plenty of room for targets, bipods, ammo, etc but without the bulk.

I tried one of these on a 22 precision bolt action rifle last year and immediately saw it's advantages over the picatinny /ARCA/Stud mount bipods I had been using for my bench based shooting. Here are my thoughts:
Pros:
1) There is ZERO flex and or movement in this bipod when deployed. No slop in 5 position lock-up and no movement in the deployed legs (partially due to it's locking thumbwheels). This bipod actually has less movement than my $300 Atlas
2) Large rubber feet don't slip on most wood or plastic surfaces like those with hardy plastic feet.
3) It has a wider deployed stance and delivers a lower center of gravity than many bipods that mount under the for end.
4) It never needs to be readjusted. I set it once to the correct height (to use with a dedicated rear bag) and just leave it that way. Come range time, it just folds out into the exact height I need.
5) One less thing to carry and install (or forget at home) . Since it stays installed, there is no fussing with it at the range.
6) The overall quality, design , value and fit/ finish is excellent. It rivals or exceeds bipods I've paid 3-6X more for.
Cons:
1) Does require a M-loc side mount.
2) The legs fold up (either forward or aft) along the side of the rifle. They do take up space in the gun case and can be in the way if you shoot your rifle off hand. (Especially on shorter handguards.)
3) It's a pretty fixed system . There is no moving /removing's it quickly. There is also no tilt or cant feature

First off, this trigger was as crunchy as stepping on a bag of potato chips right out of the package. I thought I must have got a bad one so sent it into Elftmann for exchange ( on my dime). They kept it near two weeks and sent it back saying it had been lubricated. So much for customer service. Beyond that the trigger shoe itself is wider than the base of the trigger guard by nearly 50 thousandths. That means you have to install the shoe AFTER the rifle is put together and remove it before you can take the rifle apart again. THE SHOE WILL NOT FIT THROUGH THE TRIGGRGUARD, PERIOD! To make matter worse the shoe must clamp into the trigger blade by means of tightening the 0.05" allen head screw until it squeezes the blade. I have no doubt that it will be easy to strip that tiny screw and be stuck having to saw off the trigger while in the stock. I am now forced to use the trigger with no shoe for the meantime but will be throwing it in the trash as soon as I can get another brand shipped. Save your money and buy ANY other brand.

The picture has been corrected an is representative of the actual product. I have these on 3 CZ rifles now and can't say enough good about them. They allow me to drop my mags without fumbling and their extra length helps in locating the mag slot.

I have a couple of Precision 22 bolt guns that came with shorter (16.5 to 18") match grade barrels. I didn't like the way they looked and the extra crack coming out of the shorter barrels had me wearing muffs. This comp has solved my problem on a couple of levels. First, it does quiet the rifle to the point that I don't need hearing protection. Second, it adds some length to the barrel so it doesn't look so goofy. Lastly, because you can vary the length/weight, you can actually "tune it" to your barrel. That said, while I do see a Point of impact shift with this device on/off, I don't see any degradation in accuracy on either my CZ's, B14r's or V22's. this is nicely made and finished and worthy of 5 stars IF only it came with the thread adaptor. Buying that separately, drives the price up.

I actually have two of these particular scopes and a couple each of the rest of the Argos line and can say that they have all been as reliable as a hammer. The Argos line delivers decent glass, etched First Focal Plane reticle, good crisp turrets, zero stop, wide magnification range, side focus, 56mm objective and an illuminated recital and VG fit and finish...... I find this particular 8-34 model useful for shooting my ( rimfire) rifles off the bench at small to medium targets out to the 250 yds I shoot. The extra magnification is really nice for 100 yd "egg" shooting in particular. That said, the image will start to dim up after 30X or so so I rarely take it past that.
If I have ANY gripes with this scope it's that the FFP recital can get a bit "fat" at 30X or so.It's Ok for lollypop and egg shooting at 50-100 yds but the 10-40x56 model with it's second focal plane reticle is a better choice if your trying to shoot 1/4" bullseyes on paper
