Save your $. serious design flaws! - Elftmann Tactical ELF SE Precision Rifle Trigger

First off, this trigger was as crunchy as stepping on a bag of potato chips right out of the package. I thought I must have got a bad one so sent it into Elftmann for exchange ( on my dime). They kept it near two weeks and sent it back saying it had been lubricated. So much for customer service. Beyond that the trigger shoe itself is wider than the base of the trigger guard by nearly 50 thousandths. That means you have to install the shoe AFTER the rifle is put together and remove it before you can take the rifle apart again. THE SHOE WILL NOT FIT THROUGH THE TRIGGRGUARD, PERIOD! To make matter worse the shoe must clamp into the trigger blade by means of tightening the 0.05" allen head screw until it squeezes the blade. I have no doubt that it will be easy to strip that tiny screw and be stuck having to saw off the trigger while in the stock. I am now forced to use the trigger with no shoe for the meantime but will be throwing it in the trash as soon as I can get another brand shipped. Save your money and buy ANY other brand.
