Poorly machined
Huge stepover machining defect on the bottom. Some of it is machined nicely, some poorly. It was also packed poorly (plastic bag inside single wall plastic shipping bag); big scratch through finish on front and I don't know if that was from packing or not (there were cuts in the bag where the item cut through from being pinched between it and something on the outside of the bag during shipping). Overall pretty disappointing...now I get to spend time packing it back up and driving into town for the RMA.

No more timing!!
Decent brake, I like it. However, the self timing part it AMAZING! No shims, no timing.... no more nicking the barrel while trying to install/reinstall. Just put the first nut on, then twist on the brake - works amazing!
