I have two linear compensators: the Guntec AR 15 Slim line micro, and the Kaw Valley Precision XL Slim. I use them on a Ruger PC Charger 9mm and a Stribog SP9A3G 9mm.
They both improve blast and recoil experience for the shooter. There is no noticeable difference in performance.

It fit but didn't really work for my gun
I have a psa dagger and it fits on my gun just fine only problem is I cab shoot but once I shoot once it doesn't chamber another round into my gun so im assuming it doesn't have enough pressure to cycle the chamber back with this comp on it which will present a problem!
Perfect size!
Looks great, really light weight and had no issues putting it on. 1/2x28 put it on a psa akv and looks amazing.
Pros:
- Great looks, weight and quality.
Cons:
- The flat spots for tightening it up could be a little wider. Standard wrench don't fit. Be careful not to dent or deform it as it's aluminum.

A bit longer than I realized
Purchased 3 for my PCC's and I recommend them.
While they are solid and very light, they are also a bit longer than I realized they would be when installed.
They were a good price and work effectively for what they are.

Looks great, ran great. The slim is the perfect size to fit in my hand guard but still have just enough room to fit mlok attachments. Definitely pushes muzzle sound forward

Didn't fit
Bought this for my AR-9 and it didn't fit. Has the same thread 1/2x36 and it didn't screw on. Stops on a couple of threads, Really wish it fit

Keep the blast in font of you
The slim Xl linear comp is a great way to keep the noise to a minimum and in front of the shooter. I paired t with a 5.5” barrel under a 7” hand guard on my 9mm AR pistol. It also makes for a good placeholder for a future sound suppressor.
Pros:
- Lightweight, fits inside most handguards, looks cool.
Cons:
- Aluminum probably is not the best material for a muzzle device.
Best Used for:
- Directing muzzle blast down range instead of sideways & backwards.
- Placeholder for suppressor

Works like a champ!
Installed this comp on a 9mm carbine. Threads matched up and no indexing was needed. Ran a few hundred rounds through it without issue. Moving all the blast forward helped reduce my muzzle rise. The flash at night was significantly reduced too.
