It does what its supposed to, keeps debris from getting into the receiver and barrel. I do wish it had a pull tab to remove it with. The easiest removal method is to unfold the rifle, which pops it out. But I would rather not do that unless I had to. Unfolding the rifle is already a two handed operation and I don't have a spare hand to catch this thing. It ejects with velocity. Wait, give me a minute... yes, I can chunk it fifteen feet. Kel-Tec pong anyone?
Good protection for sub2k
I wish you could pull it out manually, but it pops right out like its supposed to. If you're going to carry your sub2k around folded, you might as well make sure it stays free of debris. It arrived promptly and is definitely worth the money if it only keeps one thing out of your gun.

Does its job
Locks in nicely and keeps crud out. Snaps it out before folding or you cant unfold the SUB2000. The Sub2000 is a very versatile rifle when backpacking in the Andes this dust cover from KelTec really keeps the debris out

Keltec dust cover
Would have been perfect but difficult to remove. A plastic handle would have been nice to help take the cover off. But fits like a glove other wise. Great for packing in a camp bags keeps loose bits and lint when in pack with other gear.

A must, if you own a sub 2000
This is the best investment you can make, in the Keltec sub2000 compact rifle!
The bolt and barrel chamber are both protected from debris allowing you to carry it in a backpack type case.
The only issue was where to put it while firing, I put a small strap on it to keep it close and attached to the rifle
