Date on sight is 2015
Sight is good quality, but I was disappointed to find they shipped one dated 2015 instead of 2017, that means the Tritium will only glow 8 years instead of 10. Also I purchased it for a Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded, I needed a little higher sight, I have read that the SA novak cut is not true novak dimensions, it is 60 degrees instead of 65, so the sight slides right in without any resistance, so I'll need to finesse it a little, with like JBWeld or something and the included roll pin, it will work, and it does look perfect, looking almost exactly like the original SA sight, except it has the white painted circle around the Tritium, not like the sight pictured here on OP. I like the white circle around the Tritium better than not. If it had a current date Tritium insert the sight would get a 5 star rating.

I have several other Kensight sights. This is anther quality sight from them. I bought three sizes to sight in a compact 1911, they are very well made and require little fitting for installing. Whenever I'm looking for new sights, I check Kensight first
