Nice however.....

This sight DID NOT fit my GI 1911a1. Base is too wide. I will keep it and perhaps it may come in handy, or I can file it down to fit.

Bright sights for my SA 1911-A1

Bought the front & rear sights for my Mil-Spec Springfield Armory.45 to replace the original sights. The original sights had faded over the years from white to brownish white. These are nice & bright, dots a bit larger than my original sights. I had a local gunsmith install the front & rear sights and he did a great job. He’d installed many sights on 1911’s over the years, and made some jigs to make it easier. He did say there are some differences in the front sight on some models. I have a sight pusher if I need to make any windage adjustments. I’d recommend these sights if you want to keep the simple white 3 dot configuration.

Best Used for:
  • Springfield Armory or other mil-spec .45
