Kensight does not support their products
Purchased this product 6 years ago. White ring on front sight has completely deteriorated and illumination died after 6 years. Contacted Kensight and spoke with Shane Napper. Claimed that their limited lifetime warranty only covers metal and not the illumination or white ring which was installed by Trijicon. Was told to contact Trijicon. Trijicon will not warranty because this sight is branded by Kensight and was to told warrant through Kensight. Also discovered that while I order part 960-253 I actually received part 980-253. Orders placed through Optics Planet are shipped from Kensigh...

Pretty Decent
Fits my Springfield Range Officer and does its job. I do have other pistols with brighter tritium but these do their job well enough to not question it. There's not too many options for this 1911 slide cut and these sights take the role well for most applications.

Does Not Fit Ruger SR1911 10mm
I purchased this for my Ruger SR1911 10mm because of a recommendation on this site I can no longer find. If you got here looking for night sights for this pistol based on that recommendation, don't get this version. This isn't Kensight's fault and they really shouldn't be a 3 star as this is a well made sight. However, I wanted to bring attention to the fact that the "expert" advice from Optics Planet about this fitting an SR 1911 in 10mm is not correct. The front sight fits fine, so now I have a useless rear sight that is glowing in my parts bin right now and for the next 10 years.

Great sights
Bright tritium and well built sights. Definitely better than the stock sights on my Springfield. Low enough profile for carry while still being adjustable. Would highly recomend to anyone looking for night sights

Good sights
These sights while LPA cut will only fit the Ruger SR1911 target model with gunsmithing. The slide cut out is not long enough to accommodate these sights. I have not yet had opportunity to sight the gun in, still at the gunsmith.
Pros:
- These are the only sights I could find for my pistol with tritium. They seem to be very well made and are bright.
Cons:
- These are not a simple direct change, gunsmithing required for the Ruger SR1911
Best Used for:
- I will be using these for everyday carry, target shooting, and hunting.
