Kestrel / Ruger 5700
I purchased the Kestrel / Ruger 5700 a week ago mainly because I have three Ruger rifles thereby their information is already stored in the Kestrel 5700.Consider going with the next model up which was $200.00 more but since I am a novice at using the unit decided to give it a try.
According to the specs for $300.00 I can upgrade the software to make my investment equivalent to the more advanced unit.
I am still setting up the unit and will have my first experience with the 5700 this coming Sunday.
