This is my third Key-Back. First two had metal belt clip. Clip can bend and come off belt. This happened to me more than once, but I heard the noise of all the keys hitting the ground. Leather loop will not come off belt. The downside is you need to unbuckle your belt to put it on. No problems with retractable cord wearing out.
