Very lightweight barrel, looks fantastic and allegedly very accurate. When shopping for a high quality 10/22 barrel upgrade I hit the forums like everyone does and Kidd was a mainstay among the competitors so I took a chance. I have not fully sighted in my rifle with new scope and barrel so I cannot speak to the accuracy yet. My only complaint is that it holds the shell much tighter than the factory barrel which made it so that my bolt would not extract an unfired shell manually. Empty shells eject fine though so its not a problem but I will likely upgrade the bolt due to this anomaly. Install...

KIDD ULW barrel

Very nice barrel all around, perfect fit and finish. Shoots very well with CCI standard velocity which is awesome because i shoot suppressed and CCI SV is subsonic and cheap. i would say it meets the KIDD accuracy guarantee even though the ULW does not carry the guarantee.

Kidd ULW Barrel

If you are on the fence about getting one of these Kidd ULW barrels just go for it. The barrel was easy to install. Fit and finish is beautiful. This Kidd barrel transformed my little backyard fun gun into a real shooter! Nailing 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards is no problem. Optics planet for the win! Ordered this barrel on a Friday morning, shipped and delivered to my house the following Tuesday. Installed on my rifle that night and I was shooting the next afternoon soon as I got home from work. I tested a few different brands of ammo. CCI SV, SK match, and CCI mini mag. I had the best results with the SK rifle match and the CCI mini mags.

My experience with a Kidd custom barrel

Very nice product, you can immediately see the quantity in the craftsmanship. The fitment is not the best compared to several other aftermarket barrels on the market. What I mean by this is that for an actual 10/22 receiver the barrel is extremely tight to get into place. You will probably have to heat the receiver with a torch to get the proper fitment. (Not a big deal) I did also notice a very slight difference in the threads on the barrel which caused me to have to run my deadair mask suppressor on and off several times before it would seat properly. It is still difficult to remove but will hopefully get better with time. Now for the most important part (ACCURACY). Not a single complaint. It shoots as described.

Super accurate!!!

I fired twenty shots to get it where I wanted and then fired a five shot group that was one hole about.24 cal. It was only 35 yards but I was pretty happy with it. Easy to install and nice and light. Very happy with my purchase!

Installed nice and snug but drama free, looks great, weight loss was nice and now I can use my can! Accuracy is also better, at the sale price it was no brainer.
