I bought the portable crank for my dad’s killer instinct fierce 405TM cross bow as he couldn’t set the bow by hand. If you own a fierce 405, DO NOT try and use this crank. Just because the company says it will fit doesn’t mean it’s so. The crank mounts on the butt of the cross bow, as you crank the bow string back the crank will try to disengage from the butt stock. This left me in no man’s land, 3/4 back the crank is trying to come off and I’m trying to prevent this from happening and trying to release the crank to back it down. After what seemed to be forever I was able finally get the crank to release. The angle of the crank and the string isn’t correct there is too much angle. The string should be pulled back on an even plain. I tried for three days to get ahold of killer instincts headquarters to no avail. I will continue to try and reach out to them. My interaction with Optics planet was Five out of five stars. Ordering was easy and they kept me posted on the delivery details. I hope the return is as easy as

I am very pleased with this product. Greatly assist cocking the crossbow in my older age.

Definitely needed, makes cocking a 210lb crossbow efforless. It sucks getting old.
