Let me start by saying I have 8 of these and they've been great so far with no issues to my knowledge. I don't beat my stuff up(go to great lengths to avoid it as a matter of fact), but so far so good). As another posted, sometimes the screws that hold the bottom metal to the qd base can be loose on arrival, so be sure to check thaT. My ONLY issue so far has been the customer service from KDG. I requested some extra screws as I'm prone to losing small parts and having extras is simply handy. They happily sent me a few extras at no charge. Awesome. I have since reached out to them several times with questions about the mount and have been ignored. You can only reach them via email as they don't list their phone number. If they only had a couple of things in their catalog, I don't think it would be an issue. But considering the array of items they manufacturer, mainly for top tier firearms and optics, they should have multiple contact options and definitely not ignore their customers. I purchased a Samson 35mm mount since KDG didn't offer one at the time and it seems good. I think I'll start switching my mounts and income over to them as they have always been professional and courteous when I CALL THEM.
