Kleenbore Lead Away
These patches do an awesome job of removing caked on lead and fouling. They are coated with something that helps to dissolve the lead and gunpowder. I use them on my stainless revolvers on the cylinder and they clean even the toughest fouling. Will clean up the muzzle side of the cylinder to look new again. Don't use on blued guns as it will take the bluing off.
if you can find them, buy them up!
I picked up maybe 6 clamshell packages in about 2018/2019. I started shooting lead through my Colt 1911 after I started shooting Bullseye at my local club. I have serious leading issues on the 11-1 o’clock portion of my National match barrel. Nothing else would take it off until I found and tried these patches.
I’ve been using the sparingly because it looked like a pretty old product when I found first saw them at a nearby gun shop ages ago. Now I see they’re discontinued, or have been, for quite some time. If you see them out and about, BUY THEM! There is nothing that I’ve found better at stripping off the caked lead from your bore.
I know the local shop I found them at had a few more packs still a couple weeks ago. I’ll be heading there tomorrow to find and buy the rest of them before I run out.

Lead bullets? This will help clean up
These patches are excellent at removing lead fouling. The lead will actually come out in strips from the grooves in the rifleing. These patches have a pleasant smell and no pungent solvent odor. They make barrel cleaning much less work.
