The pin seems nice and sturdy, with a really nice fit on an Aero Precision AR15 lower in FDE cerakote - there is a minute amount of extra length and therefore wobble due to the different tolerances of various lowers. The push button mechanism is solid and isn’t going to budge unless you want it to, but I’m still looking for an R-style hitch pin that’s small enough to secure it. Maybe the best part is you get to avoid another spring + detent with finicky installation - no spring flying out the back out your receiver from under the rear plate, so it makes complete removal of the pin(s) as easy as just another button press. This .250 diameter pin will fit MOST “mil-spec” (or commercial) AR15/M4 type receivers, but if unsure, just ask your manufacturer or check KNS’ website.
