The best pivot/takedown pin on the market
Are you sick and tired of calling NASA because you yeeted another detent into orbit?
Well look no further because KNS precision has exactly what you need.
With the KNS enhanced pivot pin, spring loaded detents are a thing of the past.
10/10 will buy again.
pins worked well for my situation
I had an older one piece composite AR lower and it didn’t have provisions for the detents spring and detents to keep the pins in place. These push pins worked great in this situation.

Toolless Installation.
Easy to use, toolless Installation and removal.
I recommend using these for new builds since they do not require any springs or dents to stay in place.
The only downside is that these are not the nicest looking pins on the market.

Great Takedown Pin
I had the 0.25" front pin with the retaining screw on my Colt A2, this was the perfect replacement, very easy to install and use and being a good quality item it looks great on the rifle too. Much less fiddly than trying to remove and install the screw into the existing pin and much less likely to lose anything with it being one larger part as opposed to being a two part deal.

great item from KNS
Great product very simple and effective this eliminates malfunction and minimizes the number of parts very simple common sense item, I am very impressed.the pins do a great job there is no rattle at all the fit and Finish are great the pins look like they belong on the weapon. I don’t have to rely on spring and small detents that are a Royal pain.

it is pretty fast to use
It’s pretty fast could be faster on the take down but i like that I don’t have the pivot pin springs anymore it does catch though but I think it’s work it compared to the spring I’m sure they will improve the product but over all it’s a good replacement if you don’t like the springs

Kns pivot pin
As with most kns parts this is nothing but quality. Great concept that allows you to accomplish more with less. They work flawlessly, and you won’t be disappointed. Haven’t built an AR without them since.

great for maglocked or anyone who doesnt want to deal with detents
This is a good product, simple ,efficient and hard locking... these don't stand out and are great for quick take down...highly recommend I have them on all my rifles... KNS is a great company and I stand by all their products...

- easy swapping of uppers
Cons:
- push buttons are stiff when brand new
Best Used for:
- cali rifles
- maglocked rifles
- people who constantly mess with their ARs
