Really glad I gave this product a try.
Started with a dot on my G17 for USPSA and never bothered to put iron sights on it. But when I started carrying a dot gun, I got suppressor height sights for the "worst case" scenario but as a compromise you give up some of the visual real estate that the dot offers.
So even though I was skeptical of these when I first saw them, the concept did make sense. It works for ARs so theoretically it should work for pistols.
Installed them on a G19 with a Holosun 507c. Have 500ish rounds on them so far and they are doing everything they are supposed to do.
Low profile and mostly out of the way when flipped down but they do still offer a little visual feedback which can help with presentation issues especially from unconventional positions.
If needed, you can flip them up and continue to make accurate hits on target, whether close up or at distance. I shot with them at 5yds, 10yds, and 25yds while maintaining acceptable accuracy standards.
I was using a Phlster Floodlight holster and had zero issue drawing or reholstering with the sights flipped up. Not sure if that is true for every holster but in general if your holster has room for suppressor height sights than it seems like these should clear as well.
The detents on these are really nice. Easy to flip up but they don't fold/fall under sustained recoil.
While the price is a bit more than your average blacked out suppressor height sights (and a lot more than running no iron sights) I th...
