Very nice optic - Konus SightPro PTS1 3x32mm Prismatic Sight, Balistic Illuminated Reticle

I purchased this for my wifes AR build and was a little skeptical about the scope based on it's price but I am impressed. I have a Vortex 3x prismatic scope on my AR to compare and I would be inclined to save money and purchased one of these instead. The reticle is etched on the glass like the Vortex so you can use the optic even when the batteries have drained except in low light situations for obvious reasons. However, while the Konus is offered up in 3 color options (Vortex 2), the colors aren't nearly as bright as the Vortex; don't see this a problem due to the fact that a lit reticle would only need be used in low/no light situations. The one downside that really would affect me but does not my wife is that you have to keep your eye closer to the scope than the Vortex. My wife doesn't need the stock out nearly as far is I do so her eyes can be well within the relief zone. I took off one star for the shorter eye relief, lack of lens caps and retaining cables for the adjustment covers so they don't get lost.
