Best short to medium range bargain scope out there
Etched glass reticle with illuminated dot only, 1.5x6 zoom with 44mm objective, 30mm tube with fast focus eyepiece, decent clarity in glass.....what's not to like? Probably best close to medium range bargain scope available for close quarters combat or boar/bear hunters who might face charging animal. The illuminated center dot is great for dark colored objects. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because it doesn't have level bubble as advertised. Also, scope is little large and on heavy side. However, most 30mm tubes are heavier than standard 1 inch. That's a slight disadvantage for some, but the benefit of using 30mm definitely draws in more light and helps give a more clear picture with field of view issues. Konus is actually starting to produce some decent bargain scopes that can compete with scopes costing 3 times as much!

Konus Scope Review
Great fast delivery, well packaged and exactly as described in literature. I have had the scope about than a month and have only used it at the range for sighting in the rifle. I believe it will take field use and extended time under all the variables that nature can throw at you in order to truly evaluate a rifle scope. That evaluation will eventually come but much later this fall.
