Just got the Konus Konusight 1x35mm red/green dot sight, today. After a little monkeying around, and having to add a Picatinney rail to a Ruger 10/22 carbine, it seems to work fine. Doesn't work with the rail included with the rifle. Goes from "fairly" bright, to REALLY bright!! At least with a brand new battery. Multi-reticle works as expected. The "reticle projector" stands-out a bit into the FoV on the left side, but it's not that bad. One thing that I didn't expect was that it comes with NO lens caps. I reviewed earlier, when I first got the optic. I was a bit disappointed with the mounting, because I needed to go get a separate Pic-rail to Mountie on a Ruger 10/22.

Now, after the mounting issues are forgotten, I've used it a bit, and it deserves 4 starts, for optical performance. Multi-color, multi-reticle is very nice...

will not fit picatinny.

Ad says standard picatinny mount or use adaptor for 3/8" mount. Will not fit picatinny/weaver rail. Bolts through bottom mount are 1/4" off center. However, i modified a 1/2" picatinny riser to fit. The optic itself is great. Zeroed fast and holds zero with no issues. 210 rounds 62gr and 77gr fmjbt. No issues holdingzero.. The reason for 2 stars is the mount. If it had fit picatinny, i would definitely give it 5 stars.

Not holographic like description says, and does not even mount to picatinny rail.

The space between its screws to mount to a rail are not the correct distance, so one of the screws will be in the groove of the picatinny rail but the other will be on top. Also, this is not holographic at all, despite being advertised as such. I will be returning this.
