Kowa High Lander Observation 32x82mm Roof Prism Binoculars
Ive been an avid birder for nearly 40 years, but Ive never been a fan of one-eyed viewing through a spotting scope. I have always used giant binoculars for studying distant birds. The 3-D effect of binoculars cannot be duplicated with a scope, and there is none of the associated eyestrain. Ive had my Kowa High Lander Prominar Binoculars a year now and I continue to be very favorably impressed. I use them strictly for birding (primarily long-range waterfowl study) so I cannot speak to their value for astronomical use. I reviewed this scope in details for rifletalks during the king of 1 mile competiton in france. You can spot bullet holes in paper at 600m with a 308win and see trace and impacts very clearly at 1mile. Even when you miss, you can pick the impact even in the most difficult weather conditions absolutely amazing stuff. Being heavy enables it to be SUPer stable and amazing when you use it for digiscoping. The adapters are tailor made for each phone and the best i have used anywhere around! Rod at rifletalks
Pros:
Best image and most pointable binos spotter on the market
Cons:
Heavy
Pricey
Best Used for:
Elr shooting

This is the second pair of these binoculars that I've purchased at optics planet.
Terrestrial and astronomic images are pinpoint sharp.
Granted the whole package, mount, tripod and eyepiece options will set you back close to 10K.
The 32x that comes with the binocs seem to be optimal for terrestrial viewing so you could skip the other two options.
