Kowa is for real
Excellent spotter- I have spotted Elk at 1700 yards and have full detail with this scope. Better then Nikon, slightly above Vortex Viper, just below Swarovski and Vortex Razor.

Good for the money
Used as part of a tactical surveillance kit, this scope is low end but good value for the money. It is easy to use and setup.

Good starting scope
I purchased this scope with the intention of spotting shots at the range. So far I have only shot at 200 yards with it but the scope clearly has potential to see further out. With the 20-60x eye piece this scope is great for spotting long range shots. I could see .223 holes through paper at 200 yards no problem and I bet 300 yards would be more of the same.
Only real downside is the image gets significantly darker at 60x.
