I purchased this Kwik-Site Kwik-Mount for use on a 1950's vintage .22 caliber Mossberg 151K rifle with a grooved receiver. Based upon the product description, by installing this Kwik-Mount, I would then essentially have the equivalent of an AR flattop Picatinny rail. The product that I actually received did not work for my intended purpose. The top of the Kwik-Mount has 8 grooves. A standard AR scope mount (in this case a Burris AR-PEPR mount with integrated rings which I currently use on a flattop AR picatinny rail) will not fit on the Kwik-Mount because the top 8 grooves on the Kwik-Mount are too narrow. For me, this product did not work in accordance with my understanding of its description.
