I am quite satisfied with this set up. It is much easier than trying to match a set of rings to a mount.
One problem I noticed is surrounding the older 30-30 winchester top eject rifles. I had to mount my scope so that the sight adjustment knobs were inverted to allow for the cartridge to properly eject. Not really all that much of a problem, basically right and left became up and down for me and vice versa on the windage and elevation. I think that the 30-30s made after 1994 are all side eject so most people wont ave to worry about this problem. I just happened to put this mounting set up on a rifle that was top eject and from the 60's.
Overall this is a top knotch product. I would recommend using shellac instead of locktite on the screws since it takes so long to screw in all 11 screws for this mounting system. I don't there there is any way to get around it though. After mouting this I went to the range and was within 3 inches of bullseye at 50 yards. I would recommend taking it to the range before paying to get your gun bore sighted
Remember since it is a side mounted set up it will cost more than your normal bore sighting. The places that do it for free (Academy and whatnot) wont touch a side mounted scope).
I also like this side mount set up becaus it allows me to still use the iron sights. I never thought I would need the iron sights after getting a scope, but they came in handy at my last hunt. I was out hog hunting and I came upon a hog at close range and quickly sighted in with the irons and hit my target. It would have definitely taken me a few seconds longer with the scope (which would have not been good since I had spooked the hog and it started running)
Pros: All-inclusive, No drilling required, easy to set up
Cons: Does take a little bit of time to install, maybe a half hour
