Most Helpful Positive Review Winchester 94 scope mounts
I enjoy shooting my Win. 94, but with my vision, iron sights are hard to focus on. The Kwik-Site Side Mounts lets me mount a scope providing better accuracy. Pros: I can finally mount a scope on my 94. Cons: none
Most Helpful Negative Review Scope could not mount without a half-ass adjustment
I bought this mount, and a Bushnell scope to mount on my Winchest 30/30. The iron sights and firing pin hit the scope. There is not enough clearance. Since the scope mount rings are in a fixed position on the mounting rail, I only have enough room to move the scope 1/8th of an inch forward or bac...

Purchased 2 of these

by Matthew, from MI, United States Written on April 6, 2020
I had to mount a scope to both my and my daughter's 94. The mount was a bit too low so I machined a couple of risers roughly .300" high that had the same profile as the mount and bought some longer bolts. Works great just wish they would sell a riser kit for these so I didn't have to make them.
Pros:
  • Better than the other one that rhymes with beaver!!!
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Scopes with small end bells

Scope mount

by John, from MD, United States Written on April 6, 2018
Scope mount for the Winchester model 94. It mounted easily and I put a Leopold scope 2.5 x 10 40deg and just finished bore sighting it. still need to sight it in on the range. Very happy with the mount thus far!

Doea what it is designed to do

by Texas Patriot, from TX, United States Written on October 10, 2017
Works, could be better. You have to clock the scope to the left 1/4 turn to get a clean ejection path. The scope almost touches the barrel even with a 33 millimeter objective lens. It could be imporved by raising it up a little further and to the left a little more.

Easy to install, works perfect, I install it in a Winchester 94 30-30 and I am very satisfied, if only the rings were slightly higher to alow a clear use of the open sight this product will be perfect.
Pros: Works Great
Cons: rings are little low

Nice all included mount system for the Winchester 94

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on December 7, 2012
went right on no problem, had all the hardware included for the top eject 94. not bad for an all inclusive mount.
Pros: every thing you need to mount the scope in one box
Cons: not quite as nice as the weaver mount

Could not have asked for better

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on December 9, 2011
I am quite satisfied with this set up. It is much easier than trying to match a set of rings to a mount.

One problem I noticed is surrounding the older 30-30 winchester top eject rifles. I had to mount my scope so that the sight adjustment knobs were inverted to allow for the cartridge to properly eject. Not really all that much of a problem, basically right and left became up and down for me and vice versa on the windage and elevation. I think that the 30-30s made after 1994 are all side eject so most people wont ave to worry about this problem. I just happened to put this mounting set up on a rifle that was top eject and from the 60's.

Overall this is a top knotch product. I would recommend using shellac instead of locktite on the screws since it takes so long to screw in all 11 screws for this mounting system. I don't there there is any way to get around it though. After mouting this I went to the range and was within 3 inches of bullseye at 50 yards. I would recommend taking it to the range before paying to get your gun bore sighted

Remember since it is a side mounted set up it will cost more than your normal bore sighting. The places that do it for free (Academy and whatnot) wont touch a side mounted scope).

I also like this side mount set up becaus it allows me to still use the iron sights. I never thought I would need the iron sights after getting a scope, but they came in handy at my last hunt. I was out hog hunting and I came upon a hog at c...

gets the job done

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on March 26, 2011
since I was a boy . I have been a hunter and a gun enthusiast . This scope has met all of my expectations . Including mounting the hardware and installing the scope accurate and easy . Another thing you should expect is that this method of mounting a scope will affect proper ejection of the rifle . A small sacrifice if you ask me .This product dose absolutely improve this guns ability in the field.
