Scope could not mount without a half-ass adjustment - Kwik-Site Side Mount For Winchester 94 KSW94

I bought this mount, and a Bushnell scope to mount on my Winchest 30/30. The iron sights and firing pin hit the scope. There is not enough clearance. Since the scope mount rings are in a fixed position on the mounting rail, I only have enough room to move the scope 1/8th of an inch forward or backward. Because of this I can not see the marker for what zoom setting I have on the scope.

I noticed the location for this manufacture is in Wayne MI, which is near me, so I drove to the address. Yahoo indicates they have store hours. When I arrived I found there is no sign in front of the building and there is no storefront. Just a 10 by 10 waiting area. I was able to speak with a woman who knew exactly what product I had. She told me there was no height adjustment available. I was very disappointed.

I was able to make the height adjustment with 3 small washers, but this is not the way I wanted to mount my scope. Disappointed, but not much recourse here, as no local stores carry this mount.
