Tames back to battery thump
My FM-9 had an annoyingly harsh back to battery recoil that pulled the optics off target consistently. This buffer greatly improves the feel of the bolt coming forward, optic jump and generally smoothing out the entire recoil impulse. It is kind of expensive for a part on a firearm meant to reduce cost of range trips, but otherwise the FM-9 would be staying home a bunch more.

Is your PCC with it to you?
It really does work, It noticeably softens the recoil in my AR9, I have a Stern Defense upper with Faxon 9mm bcg. It's not a huge difference but it's noticeable. Now is it worth $160, the real question you should be asking, is your PCC your weapon of choice to be investing $160 for 20 to 25% reduction in recoil?

This is a game changer!
This buffer weight is awesome! I use it in my Saint Victor. The weapon system already had lower recoil, but with this, it barely moves at all. Target requisition is so much better with installed.

Does what's advertise.
Easy install. Upgrade the spring as well which made my felt recoil about 50 percent lighter. Works well for quick follow-up shots. That's where you'll see the most impact on your shooting. Not cheap but what is these days. If you compete, it's a must have.

Works as stated.
Installed this with an updated spring to replace my tired OEM set-up. This product works as advertised. Lessened recoil by half. Faster follow up shots to make double taps with much greater ease. Easy to install. Pay attention the OEM weight of your buffer. This version worked with the original 8.8oz buffer. KynShot makes different version for the 9mm PCC.

These things are an improvement, period. It can be really difficult to find the sweet spot with AR9 spring/buffer weight combos. I put mine in and had to try it out right away, and can definitely tell a positive difference. If I ever build another one, I will absolutely be buying another one of these hydraulic buffers
