I originally purchased one of these for my 10.5 inch AR15 pistol. I paired it with a Rubber City Armory titanium lightweight BCG, and I had a WAY LARGER improvement than the 15-30% (as advertised) in recoil reduction, target reacquisition, and overall comfortability while firing the gun. This piece is amazing, and I’ve never had more fun shooting. It eliminates a lot of the fatigue at the range, and also improves every shot after your first one out of the magazine. It’s so smooth following up with your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 28th shot (etc).

I use this on my 11.5 and 10.3 Urg's with blue spring on 11.5 and red spring on the 10.3 and shoot flat AF.

Noticeable Difference
This was paired with CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback 8" 9mm Upper and ran smooth with the less expensive brass Magtech FMJ 115gr target ammo. Really made a difference in muzzle rise and follow up shots. Recoil was soft. Gun cycled quickly and with CMMG adapter mags gun retained LRBHO. I did notice an extra bit of charging handle pull required (to collapse the hydraulic buffer) when attempting to manually hold the bolt open. This was expected but is still noticeable so wanted to mention it. Great addition to my 9mm PCC. Time will tell about reliability and longevity.

Outstanding performance
It's my first time using a hydraulic buffer tube and it will not be my last. This particular component works very well with my 556 diamondback as well as my 762 and 6.5 Grendel. You definitely can tell the difference from having the hydraulic buffer tube installed low recoil easy to reset I wish I'd have known about this years ago.

Softer recoil
Using these in 7.62x39 uppers. That round has roughly 25% more recoil than 5.56 and this shows up as higher cyclic rates. Using the Kynshot HP is one part of really calming the recoil impulse to be more manageable. I have had one leak which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Kynshot replaced it quickly but it still happened. I have bought a second one to test in conjunction with the replacement to setup a second lower.

Perfect for CMMG Banshee
I contacted KynShot and this is what they recommended to use with a CMMG Banshee. I was a little skeptical about how much of a difference it would make but I decided to give it a go. There was a marked difference between this and a conventional buffer. They say it reduces felt recoil by 1/3 and I believe them. After getting this I immediately bought another model that will work with an AR-10. Worth the extra money if you are dealing with children or people that are recoil sensitive.
