Too stiff for anything 40lbs on lightest setting
Mine is super stiff. On the lightest setting i put the bathroom scale on the counter and pressed on it, it hit 40lbs before this even started to move.Once it moved i continued to push down and reached 60lbs to get it all the way compressed ON THE LIGHTEST SETTING. 12ga or 30-06 has roughly 23lbs of recoil. Its not gonna work. It also sounds like scraping metal when it compresses. I put this on, pressed on it a few times, adjusted it, yes it gets stiffer yet with adjustment, and took it off and I am sending it back. If you have a 50 cal it will probably work but for anything under, its too stiff and even if it did work its too noisy. The lightest setting needs to be the stiffest and it needs to be way looser. Or maybe this one is defective?
