I delayed buying these shoes because I had/have zero interest in La Sportiva's "No Edge" gimmick. Then my jaw dropped when I saw several International Bouldering competitors in Mandalas! Got a pair and now I know why: Once you make a tiny tweak in your technique, you'll discover these badboys stick to anything/everything, large features or tiny nubbins. Mark my words, these Mandalas are headed to the Pantheon of great La Sportiva designs, and may finally be the La Sportiva Drago-Slayer. Got my usual size of 46 and found them perfectly tight, meaning a tad bit smaller than, say, my Solutions. If you want a "performance" fit, go down maybe 1/2 size. Don't wait like I did; because when the word spreads how great these shoes are; they will become quite scarce.
