I got my first pair of 18" lagrange rubber boots non-insulated at 11years of age & i have never hunted in any other boots, my whole family wears them, u just cant beat the comfort, light weight, ankle support , quality, stealthy feel of these boots. On average, i hunt a lot , but my boots have always lasted me 3 years at least, i stil have boots that are still wearable , just no tread left on the bottom , like walkimg on a sheet of ice,, but thats how a 100 pair of boots r supposed to last, now in October of 2023 i switched up and bought the same boot only in the mossy oak break-up pattern instead of the green Lagrange. About a month ago it had been raining and i put my boots on to do something, anyways i was in about midways of my boot in water and my foot started getting wet, theres no way , got to my truck, pulled my boot off, and yep, water rolled out. The top part of my foot on the boot was cracked, like all of mine have done only instead of 4 years before it happens it took only a few short months. And i keep the cardboard in them to keep them standing upright, i never let my boots flop over at the ankle while im not wearing them because i dint want them to start cracking or wearing in that area. Has anyone else had this problem, is it only happening in the mossy oak color , because ive never had an issue with the green boots.
