WILL NOT WORK WITH STANDARD AR15 MIL SPEC LOWERS
I bought this part after reading both the specifications that optics Planet says "will fit most m4, m16 and ar15 mil spec lowers". I also read the question people asked "will this fit an ar15?" and someone replied saying it will fit mil spec lowers. After receiving it I open the box to notice it has a retaining pin like the ones that hold the upper and lower together. At first I thought ok maybe the trigger guard goes under it for some sort of support....NO NOT AT ALL. Doesn’t fit.
Purchased this item for my AR. Optics planet’s description says “will fit MILSPEC lower”. BUT, it doesn’t. I later found out that it’ll only fit LANCER L15 lower receivers. A reviewer also suggested Optics planet update the description but that didn’t happen.
Best Used for:
- Lancer L15 lower receivers only!

I’m keeping it!
Purchased this item hoping that it’ll fit my Sig and or Sharps lower. BUT NOOO! Doesn’t fit but, It’s okay though cause I’m keeping it. Planning on building either a 22 or 6mm ARC someday and will find a lower that’ll fit.

I personally messed up not reading the previous comments to this product and come to realize this would not fit on a standard ar15 lower. That doesn’t mean this isn’t a good product and I will not give a bad review based on that, this part is solid with no imperfections and would definitely fit on a lancer lower dedicated to this part. When the time comes i can afford the lancer lower or even find one it will definitely go on it.

Lancer's L15
An older concept that I found while looking through the internet, not that common and kind of expensive - but Lancer Systems L15 lower is quite nice. It comes with pieces for their AMBI bolt release and their own texturized mag release. It's a bit of a pain to assemble but once you do, it's honestly a good feel in your hands.
The magwell, it's replaceable - you push a pin (similar to the takedown pin) and you can slide the magwell out and put the new one in. The tactical seemed just right for me, I might get the competition just to have. A very nice piece, it's not loose - it doesn't rattle, and feels like it's a part of the lower.
HUGE NOTICE FOR THE LOWER - MAGPUL MAGAZINES ARE NOT COMPATIBLE. (At least for me, I've been using steel mags or aluminum mags.) I plan on buying some lancer mags to see if they fit.
