Most Helpful Positive Review It is awesome
Love the look of this thing. And if you think that it is to gaudy or big, it does serves its purpose. Look up the YouTube video 308 muzzle brake shootout buy Jeremy , and I think it was in the top 5 of the comps that reduced the most recoil

Cons:
  • Cant think of any.

Annoyed But Its so Cool

by NickNine, Verified Owner from NJ, United States Written on March 12, 2025
This muzzle brake looks incredibly cool on my 308 stag 10 with a Wilson combat barrel. It also reduces recoil which is great. If the muzzle brake wasn’t so cool and didn’t operate so well I would’ve definitely sent it back as the finish on the brake is really poor. It looks like it was polished with metal shavings.
Pros:
  • Looks
Cons:
  • Finish

Give me a brake

by Drew, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on July 6, 2024
I love this brake. You can time it exactly where you want it with the provided lock nut. You can fine tune it just how you like it with provided ports/allen screws. It is on the larger/heavy side but it does help with recoil some. This is a functional brake that I would recommend to anyone who is looking at maybe more of a precision build. I have this on the other end of a 26” barrel and it’s not so heavy that I can’t fire my rifle from a standing or kneeling position but I plan on being prone with bipod for most of the shooting with this rifle. I enjoy it. Check it out.

lancer muzzle brake

by dave, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on April 15, 2023
When it comes to long-range precision shooting, the 6.5 Creedmoor and other 6.5mm bullets have become increasingly popular due to their enhanced ballistic capability and reduced recoil. The Lancer Systems Viper 6.5-caliber Brake further enhances the recoil reduction of this round. The Lancer Systems Viper 6.5-caliber Brake is built using a blast chamber and four jets designed to direct muzzle blast in a direction that reduces the recoil impulse and muzzle rise of the rifle. The jets are located at the top of the brake, giving it the downward force needed to counteract recoil.

Making my 6.5 look like a cannon

by MI3GunR, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on March 9, 2022
I had to go with the chrome because it was the only one available at the time. I added this to my PRS 6.5 creedmore bolt action and I feel like this rifle shoots softer than my AR. Plus the comp looks awesome, it does get the attention of others at the range both due to looks and it's loudness for others next to me. There are additional screw holes that you can choose to open up to help decrease the muzzle rise which I think work well.

Awesome Brake

by Firemed001, from OH, United States Written on March 10, 2020
This Brake really worked the way it should. There is obviously some thought and design behind this. It’s not just your ordinary brake that someone cut on a CNC and called it good. It took my 1/4 MOA groups with 6.5 Creedmoor to point of aim impacts sending the rounds through the same hole. Best of all it brought the muzzle rise next to nothing. I definitely recommend this brake.

I Love It!

by Drizzt, from TN, United States Written on December 29, 2019
It’s a little heave but I think the aesthetics makes up for the weight! I have it on my PSA AR-10 and couldn’t be happier with it. Does a great job at recoil reduction as well!the removable screws on the top are also a nice feature.
Pros:
  • Recoil Reduction
  • Asthetically Pleasing
Cons:
  • a little heavy
