Be Sharp, Stay Sharp
I first bought a Lansky Sharpening Kit about 30 years ago, and after much use one of the plastic stone holders broke. I was looking for a replacement and also wanted to get a finer stone. After crunching numbers it just made sense to buy a new complete set, so I bought a 5 stone kit. These sharpening systems work as described and wouldn't hesitate to buy another or one for a gift.
Good Budget Sharpening Kit
I’ve been using Lansky sharpeners for about 20 years, and this particular kit is still going strong in its 7th year. It's like the trusty sidekick in a Western: simple, reliable, and always gets the job done. Forget the fancy, overpriced systems that look like they require a PhD in engineering; this kit just works, and is not complicated — unlike my last relationship.

Before I bought this kit I saw a lot of of videos on the product saying how good it was well it's lousy I said maybe I need the base so I bought the base it didn't help if you don't whatch you will cut your finger the box came all bent I can't close it except with some rubber bends I can go on good luck
