Super Smooth Shooting
I love this BCG. It is the smoothest shooting BCG I have had in a .308 and you can feel the difference between this and a Milspec version. Takes the overpressure out of my upper and shoots it forward and away from my face. Worth the money for sure!

Not so good for money
This is the worst bolt carrier I have ever owned. After I shot about 50 rounds with it, I took it out to clean it and noticed that the cam pin in it is very loose. I contacted Lantec and they said this is normal. the cam pin has gouges in both sides where it contacted the front and back of the carri...

Appropriate for 308 caliber rifles, not 6.5 or 6 Creedmor
I bought this after receiving confirmation from LANTAC that this uses a "High Pressure" firing pin. It clearly doesn't because it is cratering and, while rarely, piercing primers. When I switched to a JP EnhancedBolt in the same carrier (thankfully they both headspace), I had zero issues going forward. The firing pin on the JP is smaller. Additionally, the edges of the lugs on the JP are rounded off just a little unlike the LANTAC's bolt, which really has no fundamental difference to it than what comes in a cheap AR bolt. It has a great carrier design, though, and honestly they should just sell the carrier and let us buy a bolt from someone who actually figured out how to deal with 6.5/6 CM rifles.

Not woth tha money
I put 60 rounds through it unsupressed during a barrel break in and it worked great. However, when I threw my suppressor on I had about 10 stove pipes before calling it a day. Once I got home to clean it I noticed the head had broken. Extremely disappointing that a few stove pipes would Crack the head.

Maybe I’m color blind, I dunno.
It’s not bad for a basic 308 bolt, I ordered it because I thought it was a Gun Metal Grey color based off the picture advertised but yup, it’s definitely Black. Maybe it’s just my eyes but even then person I ordered it for thought it was Grey in color.

Very smooth excellent fitting
I was reading that you need same bcg tolerance as the chamber so this one seemed like the only dpms style one here, I needed for dpms style barrel chamber. It is very smooth and locks fine. I was contemplating the nickled boron ones out there because I like how they are slick but there’s something about this lantac one that makes it pretty much just as slick.
