I have used several different "laser ammunition" systems over the years with my LaserLyte ReactionTyme targets. I just acquired firearms chambered in .44 magnum. SureStrike is the only manufacturer that supports that caliber, so I bought the Ultimate LE kit and a .44 magnum adapter. With this I have one system that supports my ARs, pistols, and Henry rifle. The one problem is that it does not work with the LaserLyte ScoreTyme target that I purchased when I purchased the SureStrike system. It does work flawlessly with my older ReactionTyme targets.

This laser training system works very well. Especially with double action semi autos. The versatility of the kit alllows me to dry fire practice with 9mm .40 .45. It is extremely quick and easy to change between calibers.

I purchased this for practice with a sig p238. The laser cartridge was too big (long) to fit in it. It works in other guns, but not in the one I needed it for. I'm disappointed. Considering returning it.

I have not done a lot of practice with this but it does work as advertised. The nice function is you can practice with a holster and other basic practice skills in your home. The light gives you some idea where the shot would have went.

I use this for "real world scenarios" especially in the house. Practice from lying in bed and sitting in the living room. Things that are really the likely places I'll be when an intruder tries to break in. Also I'm right handed and left eye dominant so this is great for working on that issue. Additionally I practice "point and shoot" no pull to ready and aim. This is also more likely in a real encounter. I have managed to bring my shots down to about a 3" target at 10-15 yards which are about right for in the house.
Best Used for:
- practice
- correcting problems

I've only had this tool for a month now and my friends, family and I have all already become more proficient at multiple skills. Friday nights have become so much more fun with the variety of games we can play on the patio with just one target. Can't wait till I get my smokeless range up and running. Two thumbs up for those of us with double action pistols. (Single action and AR-15, not so cool).
Pros:
- easy to use
- Safe
- Enhances skillset
Cons:
- Pain to use with weapons that don't reset the trigger
Best Used for:
- target aquisition
- Draw speed

I love this laser setup! It functions flawlessly and I'm already a dry firingsholic but now this has made me even worse LOL! Quick and easy to use you can go from 9mm to 45 to AR15 in seconds! And it works great especially CQB to around 25 yards. I've not tried it further nor do I know if I'd want to. The only negative I have is that they need to improve the directions. However, YouTube fixed that very quickly!

It is a great tool to practice shooting, dry shooting that is, which can save you a lot of money in ammo at the range. I do it at home almost everyday to correct or improve my aiming, trigger pull, sight alignment, font side focus, and the laser shoot where the bullet would have impacted. What better way to see how you are doing or putting your bullets. I think is a great tool to become a good shooter.

This is a system I did not think would work. Most laser trainer devices are made from cheap in china junk. NOT THIS! It is a durable stainless steel laser bullet that fits right into the chamber of my 223 AR and my G17 (with the use of the 9mm adapter cap of course!). I now train in the comfort of my own basement 30 minutes before I head to bed or when I am lounging with my friends which translates into a more accurate shot when I hit the range. AWESOME product! GREAT customer service! My hats off to the Laser Ammo team and Optics Planet for carrying their stuff.
