Ex-Military and LEO. For the money this is as good as you'll get. It's small so doesn't hog rail real-estate, runs on AA, adjusts real nice, and holds zero like a beast. I'm sorry but I can't slam $1000 for the super mall ninja PEQ to call in air strikes and all that. Unless you're actually going to the sandbox this is good enough. Take the other $500 you'll save and get the wife something nice. I don't recommend buying the Chinese air soft knock offs on eBay even thought they're $100. From experience they don't hold zero and shut off after a few rounds. Middle ground is this. Comes with an easy big switch in the back that is GI proof. It's bright as heck in my nods and the laser is as crisp as a cold beer on a hot summer day.
