Dead on arrival
After a month of waiting, it came DOA. Brand new and it wouldn't even turn on. Tried different batteries with no luck. The power led indicator functioned, so the unit was getting powered, but it would not illuminate. There are plenty of negative reviews out there of Steiner products and considering the cost of their units, I'm staying away from their stuff.

Quality IR Illuminatro
Very good IR Illuminator, it is equal to a full power PEQ-15; however, it cannot be focused down as tight. Using a PVS-30 hits on steel out to 350 yard were not an issue. When it is focused all the way in there is a slight ring around the outside of the illumation, but otherwise no blemishes in the light at all.
One of the only downsides is that you cannot adjust the elevation or wind age so your reticle might not be dead center if using this with a clip on.
