Failed First Time at the Range
Rated this as one star only because zero stars was not a possible choice. The unit installed on my pistol easily and worked fine at home. I went to the range and shot only 45 rounds with the laser off. Then I turned on the unit to try it out and to check to see if it needed to be adjusted to zero it...

Lasermax Unimax Micro Rail Mounted for sub-compact pistols
In sub-compact size is not one thing it is everything. Short barrel equals short rail. The Lasermax Unimax Micro Rail Mounted laser is small, light and easy to use. the switch powers the unit on for 10 minutes or you can turn it off if it is not needed. To learn how you are sighting is critical and this device is a great tool. I put one on a Mosquito for my wife who is just learning to shoot and it shows when the trigger is not squeezed correctly. This laser will move up to her next weapon which will be a sub-compact, short rail pistol and the Lasermax will again fit the rail and fill the bill for the next sight teaching process. good product! Well thought out.

Lasermax micro rail mount
I've only used this one time on the Sig-320. It was very easy to set up. I shot about 50 rounds and it never shut off, as I have had the trigger mount lasers turn off at times. So far I feel it was well worth what I paid, and service, shipping was great.

Great little laser!!
PRO'S: Fits my Springfield XDs (3.3" barrel, .45 ACP)perfectly! Was very easy to install, and I did use a drop of Loctite on the mounting s*c*r*e*w to prevent any future problems. Inserted the battery, switched it on and was surprised at how bright the laser beam was. I then used an insertable .45 ACP laser "round" to help me in sighting in the LaserMax. After only a few "shots" it was perfectly sighted in! It is adjustable for both windage and elevation. I also like the ability to switch between a steady beam or an intermittent beam. Now if it came with a green laser I'd be in heaven. All in all I am (so far) completely satisfied with this purchase.
CON'S: Finding a holster for the XDs with the the attached LaserMax, was not impossible but pretty close to it. I am very picky as to what kind of concealable holster I carry. I prefer outside the belt, paddle style, that is easily removable from the belt. I ended up ordering from a leather holster manufacturer in England and must wait 8-10 weeks for delivery for my everyday carry holster. I also ordered a soft one from Gum Creek for my vehicle, which fits perfectly.

lasermax micro
Gerat product. Works out of the package!
Dors not take much room on the rail.
Has a five year warranty. It shows thst Lasermax has a good product. The battery is expensive to replace. But it shows that you get what you pay for. I will buy snother for my Ruger SR 22. I have this one on a Taurus Millennium G2.
